How to prepare for the session ?

Do you dream of your own photo shoot? Maybe you have already paid the deposit but don't know what to do next? You are little bit shy to ask your photographer ? Take a look here, maybe you will find answers for your questions ...

About you...

  • what should I wear ? this is probably your first question and this question is very important..

To make a right decision first think about location, weather and theme of photos. If our photoshoot will be on school your riding outfit will be the best, if we going on the beach then dress ( dress should be long ! there is usually windy so short dresses are not the best idea) or breeches (or jeans) with t-shirt or jumper are perfect choice. If we will do photos in open landscape around your farm then long/short dress, casual outfit will be fine.

  • make up ? well... here is important news, camera in outside light can see more than the mirror in your home. What I mean - little / natural make up is always welcome ! But please remember to keep the board and not use any strong and contrasting eyeshadows or lipsticks. And the most important - please don't use any kind of liquid - in the sun in the front of camera your face will be shiny like a moon. Here I am really honest. If you need to use something please please make sure it"s matte ! I am women too and I really understand if something not nice comes out on your face and you want to hide it ? Let me know and I will retouches it for you :)
  • also make sure that farm/land owner has been informed about photoshoot and she/he agreed to take a photos on her/his propety

About your dog ...

  • first of all remember to pack your amazing pet favourite toys and snacks.
  • bath day before photoshoot is not really necessary, however it will give you dog a better look.
  • remember to take a brush ! We do not know when your dog decide to rolling on the ground :)
  • make sure your dog is healthy, not injured, fed and watered before.

About your horse...

  • horse should be fed and watered before
  • cleaned just before photos or bathed early (and dry during photos)
  • make sure your horse hooves are clean
  • your horse should feel comfy during our photography session so do not change his routine

Are you not sure how to organise day for your horse ? You want to your horse looks perfect on the photos, you made a bath for him day before but photos will be next day afternoon and you working in the morning or you are just busy to groom him once again in the morning so you want to your horse stay in his stable until photoshoot ? If you decide to go this way, make sure your horse will not be mad that all his horsey friends are out but he is not - when you finally let him go out, when we start our photos he may be really nervous. If you do not have any other choice, try to organise for your horse around 10-15 minutes walk just before photos.
